Email [email protected] — a real person reads it
A card looks wrong
Tell us and we will fix the row, not argue with you. Use the report control on the card, or email [email protected] with the brand and the barcode. Two things worth knowing first: every claim line shows the directory we read and the date we read it, so tapping the source shows exactly what we saw; and "not in list" is a statement about a directory on a day, not an accusation about a brand — certifier directories are incomplete and they lag.
My product isn't in there
LabelFlip covers dairy and eggs today. Anything else gets an honest partial card — the ingredient read, no claim check — and it does not cost you a flip. If a dairy or egg product genuinely is not found, photograph the front and the ingredients panel from the not-found screen and send it in; a person reads it and the product usually appears for everyone within a couple of days. Your History row upgrades itself when it does.
Managing or cancelling LabelFlip Pro
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › LabelFlip. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot issue them ourselves.
I paid and Pro isn't showing
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. If you bought on another device signed into the same Apple ID, or someone in your Apple Family bought it, restore is what picks it up. Still stuck? Email us with the date of purchase.
Deleting what we hold
Everything the app knows about you lives on your phone, so deleting the app deletes it. The only exception is photos you chose to submit and any report you filed. Remove those from Settings › Data & Privacy › Delete my submissions, or email us. Because there is no account, include the barcode you submitted — it is the only handle we have to find your row. Full detail is on the Privacy Policy.
Recall notifications
Recall Watch is a Pro feature. Your watch list never leaves the phone: our server publishes the same recall digest to everyone and your phone does the matching, so the push we send is contentless and cannot name a product. If notifications are not arriving, check iOS Settings › Notifications › LabelFlip, and that Background App Refresh is on.
Coverage comes from the FDA's food enforcement records only. USDA FSIS — meat, poultry and processed egg products — blocks automated requests, so it is named as unchecked on the card. Never read "no recall found" as proof there is none: check fda.gov and fsis.usda.gov, or call the FDA on 1-888-INFO-FDA (1-888-463-6332).
The camera won't scan
LabelFlip needs camera access to read a barcode; it never uploads a frame. If you said no the first time, iOS Settings › LabelFlip › Camera turns it back on. You can also type a barcode by hand instead — there is a keypad on the scan screen.
Anything else
[email protected]. Tell us the brand, the barcode and what you expected to see; that is almost always enough to find it.
